A Saab 900 Turbo 16 Cabriolet that has driven less than 40 miles has been sold for millions in the United States. Ordinary car models, if you can now call the Saab 900 Cabriolet ordinary, with very few miles on the odometer are sometimes sold for very high amounts at auction. Last spring, a Saab 96 V4 with 7 km was sold for a record price. Recently, it was time for another low-miler Saab to go to auction. This time the auction item was a Saab 900 Turbo 16 Cabriolet built in Finland by Valmet in 1987. It has only driven 246 miles, equivalent to 39.6 miles. Equipment includes leather upholstery, a power-folding sunroof, 15-inch alloy wheels, ac, cruise control, heated front seats and a Clarion stereo with cassette player and equalizer.
The interior is like new
A small fun detail is that there is a small S mark on the car which indicates that the car has a Swedish origin. This type of badge was used on cars back in the day to show the country the car was registered in.The car is painted in Cherry Red and has been owned by a car company since June 2021 when it was purchased by the first owner. The convertible top folds up electrically. Note the S mark! The cab was clubbed for 145,000 US dollars, or the equivalent of 1.5 million kroner, on the American car auction site Bring a Trailer.
