Ukrainian defense tech firm Fulltime Robotics has unveiled a compact laser weapon system dubbed SlimBeam, featuring a 1.5 kW laser designed to counter drones and other airborne threats.The development was announced by the Brave1 defense tech cluster, which noted the company’s recent focus on laser-based solutions alongside its core robotics work.
According to the manufacturer, the system is designed to disable drones at distances of up to 800 meters, and blind optical systems at up to 2 kilometers.
