Koko's Tribute to Robin Williams


Robin Williams met Koko in 2001.
It was a very cheerful encounter for both, and Koko has treasured it to this day.
When Koko learned of Robin's passing (on Aug. 11, 2014) she became very sad.
We hope this video will lift her spirits and remind everyone of the profound gift of joy that Robin Williams brought to our world.

What if humans and animals could talk?

In the United States a gorilla named Koko has learnt to communicate.
It has taken over 40 years of study, but psychologist Penny Patterson is certain Koko now knows language and can create sentences to express feelings and ideas.
And as Ross Coulthart reports, Koko the gorilla just might be the most intriguing interview he's ever done (2016).

What Happened To Koko The Talking Gorilla


Koko was a gorilla who actually proved animals CAN talk to us.
She knew at least 1,000 words of American Sign Language (ASL)
and could understand about 2,000 words of spoken English.
Koko became an international celebrity during the late Seventies.
She was featured in multiple documentaries and on the cover of magazines.

On the morning of June 19, 2018 she died in her sleep.
